How to Enjoy the Holidays in Duluth
This year, it’s time to discover new traditions and make lasting memories for the holidays. Duluth’s biggest holiday display, and certainly one of our favorite events each year, is the Bentleyville Tour of Lights. This incredible display features millions of twinkling lights throughout the 20-acre Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth. It’s America’s largest free walk through a lighting display, and certainly a “must” for any visitor to Duluth during the holidays. For an added element of holiday cheer, hop onboard the North Shore Scenic Railroad at Fitzgers, and enjoy the short train ride over to Bentleyville’s Tour of Lights. It takes the hassle out of the evening, leaving more room for the joys of the season. We also love sending our guests to Glensheen Mansion during the holidays. Glensheen’s Candlelight Christmas Tour is the perfect time to discover this historic landmark, which gets decked out in traditional festive glory each year. Though there is more to enjoy during the holidays that we have room to write, there are plenty of other fun events throughout the holidays in Duluth.
A Favorite Recipe to Make For Your Loved Ones This Holiday Season
As we build up to the holiday season, we’d like to share one of our favorite and most requested recipes with you. Perhaps you can make it for your loved ones this holiday season? These Pistachio Chocolate Chunk Muffins are our most requested recipe by returning guests to the Inn. In fact, we recently had a guest request for these muffins for a special proposal. They asked that the ring be inserted into the muffin when we delivered them for breakfast. We love being a part of these special memories, and look forward to many more years of the same.
