Winter Can Be Fun!

Winter can be fun snow shoeing

With new fallen snow in the Southern Region the past two weekends have been filled with guests who choose to embrace winter as only Minnesotans can do. Two couples in particular shared that they were “first-timers” to the B&B experience and we think they’re hooked now! Both complimented their stay with snowshoe outings.

One of the B&B couples had a fun-guided tour through the Big Woods State Park near Nerstrand, MN courtesy of The Gear Resource (@thegearresource). While celebrating Valentine’s Day, another couple snow-shoed the trails of River Bend Nature Center (@RBNC) in Faribault, MN. Snowshoes, cross-country skis, fat tire bikes and a variety of other outdoor gear are available to rent at both venues for healthy and invigorating winter outings.

It’s a great reminder that we don’t need to let the winter blues get us down. Yes indeed, winter can be fun! So before the snow turns to slop, consider a quick get-away weekend full of fun and relaxation. Enjoy everything that winter has to offer and then settle in at the nearest B&B for a quiet, warm and relaxing stay. Photo courtesy of #onlyinMN
