Minnesota has over 4000KM of cross country ski trails.  Trails range from backcountry to meticulously groomed, traditional and skating. Many ski areas offer lighted trails.  Step outside, strap on your boards you'll find a variety of terrains that are sure to appeal to every age and skill level.

Snowshoe trails are also growing in popularity.  They offer a quiet retreat to explore the winter wildlife habitat.
