Thor and Rosie's Blueberry Coffee Cake
Recipe Submitted by the Historic Inn on Ramsey

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/4 cups plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar

Caramel Sauce:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup half and half

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 1 large or 2 medium or 12 individual bundt pans with nonstick cooking spray
to make cake, in a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream butter with 1 1/4 cup of the sugar. Add vanilla and lemon zest. Blend the eggs with the sour cream and add to the butter and sugar mixture. Sift ogether the dry indgredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to the wet mixture. Carefully add the blueberries and try not to break them. Add the pecans.
Pour into prepared pans. Sprinkle top with cinamon and sugar. Bake for 45 minutes or until done. Let cool before releasing from pans. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
