The Magic Door
The Magic Door is a stately, three-story 1899 Victorian located on the edge of Northfield's historic downtown. The inn is beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of new and antique furnishings. As an avid B&B patron, I have created a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere that offers an impressive array of all the amenities and special touches that I've appreciated during my own travels. Guests are treated to warmth and hospitiality in elegant surroundings, enhanced by an uncompromising attention to detail. Book a two night stay for your anniversary (including either a Friday or Saturday) and you and your partner will be treated to fresh flowers in your room, a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne, and a $15 gift certificate to any local restaurant that appeals to your tastes. Procrastination is rewarded! Call on Thursday to book any available room for the upcoming Friday or Saturday night, and recieve a $35 discount off the regular rate. Please reference the special while making the reservation. If booking online, just reference the discount in the "comment" section and it will be aknowledged in your confirmation.

Gather with family and friends for a mutual escape at a great price! Available Sunday through Thursday, my "book the house" special gets you all three of my lovely and comfortable rooms for only $295. With the place to yourselves, you can hang out and socialize in the common areas, or retreat to your own space for private indulgences. Wine and snacks will be served upon arrival, and a candlelight breakfast is a relaxing, leisurely finale to a perfect getaway. Subject to availability, so plan ahead!
