Packages & Specials Anniversary/Honeymoon - $450/couple
Upon your arrival a beautiful floral basket arrangement (for you to take with you when you depart) greets you in your double whirlpool room or fireplace suite. Plus champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. Two nights. Private Fireside breakfast each morning in commons room. Four course fireside dinner at nearby local restaurant one evening. Use of snowshoes at any time and canoe/mountain bikes in the summer. Indoor or packed lunch one day.

Special Time for Two - $325/couple
Two nights in Ollie's Room at Poplar Creek Guesthouse. With in-room double whirlpool tub, queen bed and private bath. Private Fireside breakfast each morning in commons room. Packed or indoor lunch (your choice) one day. Use of canoe and/or mountain bikes in the summer and snowshoes in winter, anytime during your stay. If Ollie's room is not available, we reserve Barbara's Suite for you. Barbara's suite has a separate bedroom with queen bed; private bath. The large room has its own fireplace. Private Fireside breakfasts served in the Suite.

Birding with Guide or Unguided - $Varies
Birds unique to the boreal forest. Guided. Two Nights for two people includes breakfast each morning, services of a birding guide one morning, followed by lunch at one of the Gunflint Trail's favorite restaurant, Trail Center. Free use of two birding kits,equipped with binoculars, birding area maps and a bird book during your stay. B&B stay with Mongolian Fire Pot Dinner - $165/person plus tax
This winter, spend two nights at the Guesthouse or Cabin and take in Boundary Country Trekking's acclaimed Mongolian Firepot Dinner, a delicious fondue of vegetables and meats cooked in a savory charcoal heated broth, served with Oriental condiments over rice. The dinner is served at the Tall Pines Yurt. The Yurt is located a short distance from a parking area. You can walk or ski in. Firepot Dinner is available for two or three people every open Tuesday night. Four or more people, dinner can be scheduled any night of the week that the yurt is available.

Bed and Breakfast and Sleigh Ride - $320 plus taxes/ couple.
Include in your two night stay in Dorothy's room at Poplar Creek Guesthouse, the delightful experience of a horse drawn sleigh ride. This private sleigh ride for two is offered in the evenings so you may enjoy the crystal clear view of starry skies and maybe the aurora borealis (the "Northern Lights"). Mark and Nancy Patten's two Belgium horses pull the sleigh along a lantern lit trail, inevitably make a lingering stop at the ever-popular "kissin' tree." The three-quarters of an hour ride ends with homemade hot chocolate served from a wood cookstove.
