   An amazing place is what our guest are saying! Its beautiful, it's round, it's remote and so different. A comfortable 4000 square foot home with elegance and rusticity uniquely blended. Stay and ski on our groomed XC ski trails or check out our snowshoe trails and don't forget your snomobile.  Step right outside our doors to 10k of private ski trails that travel thru a peaceful woodland setting.  No fees or permits required. Rentals available.

Our theme guest rooms are spacious with queen beds, sitting areas, plush robes and slippers.  Choose between elegant and romantic or lodge style with heated floors.  The Loft is five hundred square feet for guests who want the cabin feel and need more space with its own kitchen and bath.

Enjoy our hearty and sumptuous four course breakfast accompanied by many special 'up north' touches. Breakfast entrees include Belgian waffles, raspberry french toast, skillet breakfasts with farm fresh eggs, home made breads, muffins and kolaches, fresh fruits, juices and so much more.  Enjoy jams and syrups made right here and vegetables that come fresh from the garden.  All the while listening to the relaxing fountain in our comfortable dining great room while enjoying the panoramic view of the lake.  

  Cuddle with your honey in front of our grand fireplace or just watch the loons from the all glass front of the inn.  

  Have you ever seen a stained glass ceiling or one with clouds during the day that magically turn to northern lights at night? Well you can see it here as well as the beautiful home made stained glass windows and many unique art creations.

A charming great room with all the comforts and a large warm fireplace will draw you toward the windows and the awesome undeveloped views of Dixon lake.  Here you will also find a comfortable lounge area, cable TV, pool table, game table, poker table, guest kitchenette, bar and souvenirs.

Walk out lakeside in the summer and you will enter one of our two luxury courtyards surrounded by gardens.  Our sandy beach, extra long dock with complimentary use of kayaks, paddle boats, canoes and a really fun walk on water toy will keep you entertained and is sure to promote laughter.  

   Another huge great room glowing with elegance awaits you each morning for your gourmet breakfast. Here is another large fireplace and lounge area. The sound of water from the fountain will relax you at a grandly set dining table as you enjoy the view of Dixon Lake. Always serving specialty roast fresh brewed coffee and tea.

  Free dock space. Boat and pontoon rentals available.  Dixon lake is an excellent fishing lake with walleye, crappie, bluegill, pike, perch and bass.  We are just 7 miles from Lake Winnibigoshish revered for its great fishing. Come check out the Chippewa National Forest and My Lake Home Inn.

   Nearby is the Lost 40, CCC Camp, Chippewa National Forest Visitor Center and the White Oak society. We are well known for our many ATV and snowmobile trails as well as the fishing on Dixon Lake.

I (Kathryn) am your innkeeper.  I have been in the hospitality business for over thirteen years as a resort owner and now our wonderful all new B&B.  I am well known for my homes meticulously artistic features and providing guests with comfort and cleanliness.  I am very in tune to my guest desires for privacy, friendliness, conversation or for information on the area or the building of our unique home.  I am all about giving my guests what they are looking for and making their stays memorable.  Come and give my inn a try.
