Minnesota State Hiking Trails offer something for everyone in every season of the year. These trails are perfect for a workout in an outdoor setting, a fun day trip, or an adventurous weekend getaway exploring Minnesota's remote reaches.
Hiking trails link urban places to country spaces and let you explore all the beauty of Minnesota at your own pace. Historic sites, parks, forests, lakes and creeks, and charming small towns are waiting for you to discover them!
MBBA innkeepers await your arrival with comfortable beds and great breakfasts with friendly conversation around the dining room table. Your innkeeper offers an abundance of local expertise to help you get the most out of your hiking getaway.
Regardless of terrain, there is a Minnesota hiking trail suited to your interests. Several hiking trails travel through/to Minnesota State Parks. Many allow you to combine geo-caching adventures with the hiking experience. Do you want to make a weekend out of your hiking experience? Some MBBA member inns participate in a lodge-to-lodge hiking program. See the list of inns below for more details.
