Spring is in the air and we are excited that the vineyard is welcoming the growing season with this fest on Saturday, May 2. There will be free garden hats for everyone, the wood oven will be fired up to prepare the first gourmet appetizers of the season, tours of the vineyard will be available ($3.00 per person), wine tastings ($2 – $5), wine available by the glass or bottle. Make a day of it and stay for Jazz Night, 6:30 – 9 p.m. Come and stay with us at the Deutsche Strasse Bed and Breakfast – we are only about 10 miles from the vineyards. Enjoy a relaxing evening with us and wake to the aromas of a homemade gourmet breakfast being prepared and our fresh ground signature coffee. Relaxation at its finest!

Winter cold and snow has blown into Minnesota this week. By this weekend the roads should be cleared and you can plan to getaway to New Ulm this Friday and Saturday, December 11 & 12. At 7:30 p.m. the New Ulm Actors Community Theatre presenta: “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of A Christmas Carol”. It is a truly in-accurate, rib-tickling play within a play, which assaults Dickens’ best known classic. At the New Ulm Community Center, 600 North German. Adults $9.00, Children and Senior Citizens (65+) $7.00. The Community Center is a new facility and is only nine blocks from the Auf Deutsche Strasse Bed and Breakfast. We will greet you with a warm mug of hot spiced apple cider when you return from the play to stay with us for the evening and to enjoy a warm, homemade breakfast in the morning!
