38th Annual Eel Pout Festival

Minnesotan’s embrace winter. That’s why thousands will be heading North to fish and party at the 38th Annual Eel Pout Festival in Walker. In addition to fishing for one of the ugliest fish, “eel pout”, there are lots of winter activities to keep you entertained.  The traditional Friday fish fry will be featuring eel pout nuggets. As Minnesotans would say, “they are not too bad”.  There will be a bull riding competition, live music, vendors to help you with your winter wardrobe and fishing supplies, and a kids “perch-pull” competition.  More details can be found at www.eelpoutfestival.com.

Don’t stay inside this winter, come up North and celebrate!
